Finally, this is the 1.0 release of Photoful!

The changes made after version 0.93 are:

• Added output file formats for png, bmp, tiff, and gif
• Changed the program background to darker grey
• When a color button is pressed, have the current color selected
• In the preview windows, have an image place in the center
• Added About dialog on the toolbar

I plan to make the text box editing and placement feature more flexible. There will not be an upgrade version for a while.

Installation

As before, download the following zip file and unzip the file to extract setup.exe. Then double click setup.exe to start the installation. Because Microsft .Net Framework 2.0 is needed, it will try to download and install .Net 2.0 if not already installed.

Photoful! is free software to combine pictures into one. The image can be saved into a Jpeg file. In addition, you many add a text box before or after a picture. Properties like spacing between pictures, background color, margins outside of pictures, frames around pictures can be changed.

Features:

• Input file format: Jpeg, Png, Gif, Bmp, and Tiff
• Output file format: Jpeg (*.jpg file)
• Background color assignment

• Automatic resizing of pictures – scale a picture so that the length of a longer side does not exceed the length set by a user
